Conservation Programs
BAWSCA and its member
agencies offer a variety of water conservation programs and
rebates aimed at helping residents and businesses save water

High-Efficiency
Toilet (HET) Rebate Program
Starting July 2009,
you can receive a rebate of up to $150 for replacing your
old, high-volume toilet with a new HET. To ensure that you
qualify for a rebate, please confirm that the toilet you purchase
is on the List
of Qualifying HETs and that you fill out a HET
Rebate Application .
Washing
Machine Rebate Program
Starting July 2009, you can receive
a rebate of up to $200 for replacing your
old washing machine with a new water- and energy-efficient
machine. This rebate program is offered in coordination with

Water Wise Gardening
BAWSCA and its member
agencies offer free Landscaping Classes that are designed
to introduce homeowners to the concepts of sustainable landscape
design. Participants learn how to create beautiful, water-efficient
gardens using California Native plants, and acquire information
on soil maintenance and irrigation techniques.
The next class is
entitled Landscaping with California Natives,
and will be held by the City of Millbrae on October 15, 2009.
